Guests take their lives into their own hands when they follow the hidden trail
down into the gorge along Io's Nest's property line. Todd discovered this access to the swimming hole a few weeks
after we bought the property, and we have never seen anyone else there. Skinny dipping is definitely in order.
Flowing down from high up on Mauna Kea, the water that reaches the pool is clear and fresh and wickedly cold. But it feels so good
when you are hot and sticky! And you can lie on the nice warm rocks to dry off. Of course, if you do not trust
yourself to recognize potential flash flood conditions, then you have no business visiting this spot!
